Another year has galloped past and the festive season is in full flow. On behalf of everyone here at Aberdeen City Council, season’s greetings to all and best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
Working at the Town House we’ve been fortunate to be at the heart of the hubbub of the Christmas Village, which once again has brought the city to life and given a real focal point for what has been a busy and vibrant month.
We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors from near and far to the Hogmanay celebrations, which will bring the curtain down on what’s been a memorable year for Aberdeen on so many levels.
There has been lots achieved in 2018 and even more to look ahead to in 2019 for our city and communities.
Of course the festive season doesn’t bring rest and relaxation for all – with many on duty right through Christmas and New Year, whether keeping vital Council services running or on the frontline in the emergency services and hospitals as well as in so many walks of life. Our appreciation and thanks go to everyone working during what is always a hectic time for those tasked with keeping us safe and ensuring the city’s key functions carry on seamlessly.
Wherever you plan to enjoy the festivities, merry Christmas and a happy a New Year from the Town House.
